“Today...I choose to be the most beautiful version of myself – inside and out.” -Anonymous

I love this quote and have previously used it when posting my illustration work. We have so many pressures in life, and with that comes the difficulty of balancing it all while simultaneously caring for ourselves. Because of this, it is important to have quiet time. Not a quiet time where we analyze ourselves over and over and how we feel we should be or not be to those around us. But a quiet time to simply be. To curl up in our favorite chair with a hot cup of tea and allow ourselves time to rest and rejuvenate from the pressures of life. We cannot be to others what we cannot do for ourselves. And in that special quiet time, we then surrender our own will and allow God to move in our hearts and comfort us where we need comfort. To heal us where we need to be healed— and to love us exactly where we are at that very moment in time.
